Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients
  • 3 cups Elbow Macaroni
  • 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 cup Shredded Mild Cheddar
  • 1½ cup cubed Velveeta Cheese
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ 8oz package cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoons Salted Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 1½ tablespoons Garlic Powder
  • 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cook the pasta per the directions on the package
  3. In a medium sauce pan, add milk and heavy cream then slowly bring to a boil.
  4. Add Velveeta, butter, Cream Cheese, Mozzarella, and Sharp Cheddar and whisk until creamy.
  5. Mix the cheese mixture and pasta together then add seasoning and pour into a 9in x 13in casserole pan (glass of ceramic)
  6. Smooth it out evenly then sprinkle Mild Cheddar cheese over the top
  7. Optional (Melt the butter in a saute pan and toss the bread crumbs to coat. Top the macaroni with the bread crumbs.)
  8. Place in the oven for approx 30-45 minutes until top has browned
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for about 15 minutes.
  10. When serving try garnishing with chopped green onions and fresh cooked bacon pieces.
  11. Enjoy!
