Four Bean Chili

One of my favorite cold weather meals.
Ingredients
  • 1 16oz can of Dark Red Kidney Beans
  • 1 16oz can of Light Red Kidney Beans
  • 1 16oz can of Black Beans
  • 1 16oz can of Baked Beans (I get Vegetarian style)
  • 1 28oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 1½ pounds ground beef (or other ground meat)
  • 5 tablespoons chili powder
  • 3 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 3 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Black Magic
  • 1 teaspoon Fire (optional)
Instructions
  1. First brown the meat then drain off the fat.
  2. In a large pot add all of you ingredients then fill the pot with water
  3. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 1 hours stirring every 15-20 minutes.
  4. Let it sit for about 15 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips, rice, or cornbread. Garnish with sour cream, cilantro and/or chopped scallions.
  6. Enjoy.
Notes
If you are a vegetarian, you can omit the meat.
