Four Bean Chili

One of my favorite cold weather meals.
Ingredients
- 1 16oz can of Dark Red Kidney Beans
- 1 16oz can of Light Red Kidney Beans
- 1 16oz can of Black Beans
- 1 16oz can of Baked Beans (I get Vegetarian style)
- 1 28oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 tablespoons of minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- 1½ pounds ground beef (or other ground meat)
- 5 tablespoons chili powder
- 3 teaspoons ground coriander
- 3 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon Black Magic
- 1 teaspoon Fire (optional)
Instructions
- First brown the meat then drain off the fat.
- In a large pot add all of you ingredients then fill the pot with water
- Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 1 hours stirring every 15-20 minutes.
- Let it sit for about 15 minutes before serving.
- Serve with tortilla chips, rice, or cornbread. Garnish with sour cream, cilantro and/or chopped scallions.
- Enjoy.
Notes
If you are a vegetarian, you can omit the meat.
